Final hit out

Hi Everyone,

Last night I finished 2nd in the 400m Hurdles at the KBC ‘Night of Athletics’ in Heusden, Belgium, with a time of 56.21. It was my final race before I take to the track in the London World Championships in 16 days time. I felt like I had a strong race until the final hurdle and that last 40m was tough! Despite really wanting to run a seasons best last night, my time was the second fastest this year.

I am now heading to Tonbridge, UK where I will be with the Australian Team until August 1. I am looking forward to immersing myself within the team atmosphere and will use this next two weeks to get in some more quality training before my 400m Hurdle Heats in London on August 7th!

The video from last night’s race can be found on my ‘2017 Footage’ page. Thanks to MattyB for filming! There is also an updated blog as well. Enjoy!

Lauren 🙂
